Think, Ponder And Remember – All That You Need To Know About
There is a great difference between think, ponder and remember. You may not have noticed because you have always taken it to be normal. It happens to you automatically and you have grown up with it. So, you don’t realize that how the process works behind each of them. You can realize only when there is enough space in your mind. Realization doesn’t happen with a mind filled of thoughts or a tensed mind.
A mind filled of thoughts is like to be completely blind.
No solution can enter your mind because it is too filled with problems.
It’s just like the photo above.
If you don’t take care of your mind, then how will it be peaceful?
You normally take care of many things but forget about your own mind.
Today, I am going to share with you the difference between these three: Think, Ponder and Remember. These are connected directly to your mind. I have already written an article about the Thought Process before and if you wish, you can read it here. In fact, I am going to explain to you in details here as per my own realizations.
Thinking is not natural as it seems to be. It is an invitation.To be natural means to be empty. To be pure means to be empty. This emptiness doesn’t mean that it has to be empty the way you think. In fact, this emptiness is always filled with pure energy. I have written a lot about that here, so I won’t go into details about the same.
Most of the times we hear about this sentence: ‘Let me think about it’.
What does it means in the term of the process behind it?
Is it that you just close your eyes and think and thoughts just pop in your mind or there is another thing happening in the mind there?
First, know that the reply ‘Let me think about it’ itself is a thought. That thought creates another thought which you accept as an invitation. This does not stop here as you go on entertaining more thoughts. Thinking is just that you go on inviting a sequence of thoughts and you are drowned in them forgetting everything else. You are too busy with them that you even miss your present moment.
Now, do you really want to miss your present moment?
This question will trigger another thing in you. What can it be?
You will want to ponder about what you are doing actually and what you are at the same time missing. Yes, the next is to Ponder about something.
To ponder means to take a word and work on it via thoughts. It is not like thinking. Thinking creates a sequence of thoughts and you go on flowing with them whereas pondering creates thinking, judging, analysing, reasoning and decision taking. A long process it is where more thoughts are invited. At the end what happens is that either you take the right or wrong decision. You are not sure about it yourself. Sometimes you think you took the right decision but still have doubt on it.
Why is it so?
This is because you are taking a decision as per your thoughts which can be either negative or positive. In fact, you doubt your own thoughts. This is why many times it happens that you become indecisive and take a decision just like that.
So, the fact is that if you are uncertain about your own thoughts, then why do you depend on them?
To Remember – What is it connected with?
Remember has a connection with forget. It’s like you have kept your mobile somewhere and it happened that you forgot where you have kept it. Top of that, your mobile is off and you can’t dial the number to find it.
What will you do in such a situation?
Of course, the first thing you will do is to remember where you have kept it. What you do in this situation is that your mind is already filled with thoughts still you try to create a space in between these thoughts to find out where you have kept your mobile. Sometimes, that space which you have created guides you to the right solution passing in between very tough thoughts to create a way to the right solution. But if your thoughts are too tough and stand as an obstacle for you, then it won’t let you create any space. What happens here is that you won’t be able to remember and you are more stressed.
Know that thoughts are not your best friend. They are the cause of your being stressed. The only solution is to go on increasing your Awareness so that more space is created in your mind.
